Haism Qassem, a spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, emphasizes that any arrangement for the future of Gaza after the end of the war must be made through state agreements, and that the movement will not allow foreign powers to be hampered.
“With a national agreement, we are not prepared to play a role in the future regime of the Gaza Strip,” Qassem said.
The spokesman said Hamas’ status was clear and that future plans for Gaza after the end of the war must be made through national agreements and “promote this work.”
“Hamas doesn’t have to be part of the measures taken, and the movement is not interested in this and does not want to be informed of these measures at all,” he added.
Qassem emphasized that control measures should be implemented through internal national agreements, Hamas said foreign powers would not interfere.
“These adopted measures should provide the basis for the launch of serious and genuine reconstruction operations in the Gaza Strip, in order to provide the opportunity to save Gaza residents from disasters to residents from the Zionist regime’s war of genocide,” he said.
