Information from the Flightradar24 was captured the moment the US MQ-4C reconnaissance drone crossed into the area around Iran’s tropical border, Newsweek claimed in a report.
Flightradar24 data shows that the US Navy MQ-4C Triton Reconnaissance drone departed from the United Arab Emirates on March 3rd. However, it is certain that drones fly near Iran’s Kish Island and there are several Iranian naval bases. After about 12 hours of flight, the drone disappeared from the radar pursuit.
Developed by Northrop Grumman, the MQ-4C Triton is an altitude, long-term unmanned aerial vehicle designed for sustainable maritime surveillance. The Triton is equipped with advanced sensors, including radar, which can remain in the air for more than 24 hours and allows for 360-degree monitoring in vast areas. The technology has become a key asset in the US Navy’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.
