By lifting Iran’s economic sanctions, these agreements could help the country’s economy more than before, said Mohammad Ali Dehan Denavi.
Until 30 years ago, the main trend in world trade was membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO). However, today, regional unions are the main approach to national trade. He calls the FTA a major achievement for Eurasia and Iran, and in this way, Iran will be connected to the markets of five Eurasian countries with trade volumes of around $85-900 billion.
Referring to the fact that Iran and Russia have made a major agreement to launch an Iranian trade centre in Moscow, he said Iran is planning to launch a trade centre in Moscow.
According to the latest developments, on March 3, 2025, Iran’s Guardian Council approved a bill on FTAs between the Islamic Republic of Iran, the EAEU and its member states.
