President Donald Trump’s administration sent Washington’s point man Adam Berer to American prisoners held overseas to discuss the fate of the nation’s prisoners of war in Gaza, White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt said Wednesday.
“It is the President believes in engagement in discussions worldwide to fulfill the greatest benefits of the American people,” she said during a press conference. “The president believes that is the right thing for Americans,” she added.
This statement came while the US designated Hamas as a “terrorist organization.”
This was necessary in 1997 due to the indomitable resolve of the movement to resist the US-backed occupation and aggression of Israel.
This resolve features numerous constantly successful operations groups and fellow resistant facts against the Israeli regime, Washington’s most precious regional ally, facing the atrocities of the Tel Aviv genocide and other war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians.
However, Levitt argued that Bowler “has the authority to speak to the relevant parties” in his “capability as an envoy” of the prisoners.
The statement comes hours after the American website Axios had a report pointing to the discussion and cited “a source of question-savvy information.”
Sources said the report said Bohler had been holding a secret meeting with Hamas officials in Qatar’s capital Doha in recent weeks.
The main focus of the debate was the release of American prisoners of war, adding that it was argued that it could also cover a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza.
The Israeli regime began robbing Palestinian territory under the war of massacre in October 2023.
Invasion by Hamas and other resistance groups in Gaza A ceasefire agreement began to be implemented in January after the administration approved the deal.
However, the administration routinely violates the agreement, killing around 48,000 people killed during the war, mainly women and children, as well as hundreds more Palestinians.
Still working on the issue of debate between the US and Hamas, Leavitt pointed out that “Israel has been consulted on this issue.”
However, the Axios report claimed that “the Trump administration () consulted with Israel about possible involvement with Hamas, but Israel learned about aspects of consultation through other channels.”
The claim aims to boost the robust military and political cooperation between Washington and Tel Aviv, despite the obvious and comprehensive intelligence cooperation between them.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office also acknowledged the reported debate and said the administration had expressed its view on the issue.
At this time, Hamas has 59 prisoners of war in Gaza, reportedly falling from the 240 Zionists that Palestinian fighters seduced during a historic resistance operation targeting Palestinian territory occupied on October 7, 2023.
