The destruction of refugee camps launched by Israel on the West Bank has transformed into the largest evacuation of Palestinians since the war in 1967.
“The demolition of these systematic, massive homes has had an unprecedented impact on the lives of Palestinian refugees in the region. Refugee camps in Jenin, Talkam and Nursham have almost empty residents and there is extensive destruction in private infrastructure, including housing.”
“People are now facing the prospect of nowhere to return. This operation is the longest and most destructive one since the second Intifada, and will bring about the greatest displacement of the Palestinians in the West Bank since the war in 1967.”
He added that around 40,000 people have been kicked out of their homes on the West Bank.
