The Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) says it has disbanded two Takfiri terrorist teams in Sistan and Balsestan, in southeastern Iran.
In a statement Saturday, IRGC Ground Force QUDS headquarters announced that two teams, including nine terrorists, had been identified south of the state before committing sabotage.
The statement further stated that a significant amount of ammunition has been seized.
The terrorist group was dismantled as part of an ongoing large-scale counter-terrorism operation launched in November 2024, according to the announcement.
The QUDS headquarters of the IRGC ground forces has pledged to carry on the project and will continue to strongly address all the factors that have caused uncertainty in the Cistan and the Balchestan province.
