“If the purpose of the negotiation is to address concerns about the potential militarization of Iran’s nuclear program, such discussions could be considered. However, if the objective is to dismantle Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, then it is said that such negotiation will never be carried out if Obama claims that what he was able to achieve is now being achieved,” on Sunday.
Speaking at a gathering of Iranian government and military officials on Saturday, Islamic Revolution leader Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei stressed that Iran had refused to promote it by the “bullying government” in order to open negotiations.
The leader said such gestures for diplomacy were not a real attempt to resolve conflicts over Iran’s nuclear program, but an effort to impose their own expectations on Tehran.
