He emphasized that Iran has its own fighting capabilities in the maritime sector and that it has its own safety and the security of other countries in the region.
Referring to joint naval training between Iran, China and Russia, Officer Sayyari pointed out that the ocean is a source of wealth and power, and that various countries are seeking optimal use.
Iran also has numerous resources with access to the North and South Seas, he emphasized.
He went on to say that the safety of the maritime route is extremely important as more than 90% of the country’s exports and imports are done through water.
Sayyari believes maritime diplomacy is essential, adding that security must be established by the local countries and does not require the presence of foreigners.
Regarding joint naval training between Iran, China and Russia, Saiyari said the move is a sign of Iran’s high naval power in the international arena, pointing out that Russia and China are accepting Iran as a vital force in the region.
Regarding the dispatch of observers from 15 countries, he said the issue will strengthen the maritime authorities of the region and send a clear message to others that Iran does not need the help of others.
Admiral Sayari pointed to the positive outlook of the cross-regional countries, saying that the naval training is a measure against the negative outlook of the rog haughty countries, indicating the strengthening of the maritime power of the region.
