Tehran – Marsin Wilkek, Polish Chage de Affairs of Iran, and Elham Aminzadeh, vice-president of Tehran University for International Affairs, explored the pathway to developing scientific interactions between universities in the two countries.
At a meeting held on Tuesday, the two sides discussed organizing a joint conference focusing on Polish refugees living in Iran, introduced Polish cinemas, exchanged professors and students, and co-hosted educational workshops, the IRNA reported.

World University Rankings show the pros and cons of universities, as well as the scientific positions associated with each other.
However, they can help boost science diplomacy and contribute to attracting international faculty and students. It can also develop international competition and shape policies that lead to globalization of universities.
Times Higher Education (The) World University Rankings (WUR) ranks 85 Iranian universities among the world’s top universities, according to International Outlook 2025. Tehran University, with its global rankings of 401-500, ranks third in Iran.
The 2025 World University Rankings 2025 placed 81 Iranian universities among the top universities in the world in one tenth of the 11 subject regions compared to the 73 universities in 2024.
In Computer Science and Engineering, Tehran University (global ranking of 401-500) ranked third in the country.
The University of Tehran (201-250) was a top institution in business and economics. It was second place in computer science.
In life sciences, Tehran University was the first nationally ranked. Ranked 401-500 worldwide.
It was first ranked in physical and social sciences (ranked 301-400 worldwide).
The Interdisciplinary Science Ranking (ISR) has placed 29 Iranian universities among top institutions around the world for interdisciplinary scientific research.
Tehran University, with its global rankings of 77, was the first to be placed in the country.
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asian University Rankings listed 32 Iranian universities in 2025 on the top universities list, compared to 31 universities in 2024.
The University of Tehran (global rankings of 87) was first placed among Iranian universities.
Times Higher Education World University 2025 has placed 85 Iranian universities among top institutions compared to 75 universities in 2024. Tehran University ranked third in the global rankings of 401-500.
Irib reported that it was the best university in the country, according to a report from Eduran University in Tehran.
The University of Tehran has won the highest ranking among Iranian institutions, ranking 291 worldwide in the performance ranking of scientific papers from world universities, also known as the National Taiwan University (NTU) Rankings.
