The UAE delegation handed over the letter at a meeting with Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut in Tehran on Wednesday.
The UAE diplomat was reported by the media that he had letters from the US president for the leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Donald Trump unilaterally pulled his country out of Iran’s nuclear deal in May 2018, and when he returned to the White House earlier this year, he reaffirmed his wasted maximum pressure campaign against Tehran. Iran said it would not negotiate under pressure. Washington acknowledges that the call for consultation is aimed at seizing Iran’s peaceful nuclear program and defence missiles.
Recently, the leader of the Islamic Revolution told a gathering of university students, “Iran is not postwar, but if threatened, it will give a decisive and decisive response.”
The assertion by the US president that they are ready to negotiate is a deception of global public opinion,” argued Ayatollah Khamenei.
“Iran spent several years negotiating a nuclear deal, but the US president tore the deal,” Ayatollah Khamenei said, “There is no need for such consultations when they know they are not complying with the consultations.”
“If we wanted to acquire nuclear weapons, the US wouldn’t have been able to stop us,” the leader said.
