Yemeni Army spokesman Yahya Saree made the announcement on Wednesday, saying strikes will resume in accordance with related orders issued by Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the leader of the country’s Ansarra Resistance Movement.
The Ansarla leaders had given them power four days before they resumed the intersection where they forced the Gaza-based resistance movement to close.
The closure is also intended to put great pressure on the Palestinians in Gaza. Gaza is already suffering under the genocide war of more than 15 months by Tel Aviv.
“Because mediators failed to achieve these objectives (the administration resumed terminals and accepted subsidies), Yemen escalated its support for the Palestinian people,” a military statement said, PressTV.
“Immediately, all Israeli ships are prohibited from navigating designated operating zones, including the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden,” they noted.
The forces warned that Israeli vessels attempting to violate the ban will be targeted within designated operating areas.
“The ban will exist until the intersection to the Gaza Strip is reopened and humanitarian aid, including essential food and medicine, is permitted,” the statement read.
The forces eventually reiterated solidarity with the resilient Palestinian populations of both the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. This similarly escalated Israel’s aggression and reaffirmed “an unwavering support for Palestinian resistance.”
Yemeni officials, including Al-Houthi himself, stressed that when the deadline was issued, the Yemeni military was fully prepared to resume operations against the regime if humanitarian aid was not allowed to enter Gaza.
Yemeni forces began transporting supplies to Palestinian territory, occupied across the Arab Peninsula, under missile and drone strikes, since October 7, 2023, when the regime began the war.
The business has hit Israeli economy seriously and contributed to meaningful price increases across the commodities consumed by illegal settlers in the administration.
