Earlier on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci responded to questions about the alleged letter from President Donald Trump to Iran, saying that the letter was written but Iranian officials have not yet received it.
On a recent visit to Abu Dhabi, Iran’s Minister of Political Affairs, Majid Takuto Ravanchi met with the diplomatic advisor to President Emirati Anwar Gargash.
During the meeting, both sides were exchanged on issues of connections and mutual interest on both sides.
US media said US President Donald Trump had sent a letter Wednesday to Iranian leader Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei, adding that he wanted to reach an agreement on the country’s nuclear program.
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei recently announced that he does not support direct negotiations with the Trump administration because he does not trust the United States. Iranian President Masuud Pezeshkian also said that he supports dialogue with the United States but will act on the advice of his leaders.
