Mohammad Ashouri, Hormozgan’s port of Shahid Rajaee, told reporters on Monday afternoon that the explosion and subsequent fires rose to 65pm on Monday.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Escandar Momeni’s announcement that the disappearing fire service work would be completed was confirmed by a fire station spokesman on Monday afternoon.
Furthermore, Hossein Zafari, a spokesman for Iran’s National Disaster Management Organization (NDMO), said the operation to launch the fire has been completed.
The spokesman added that up to 1,072 people injured in the incident have been discharged from the hospital, with 138 injured people still being treated at the hospital.
Zafari added that forensic medical checkups and debris removal operations are still ongoing and will take at least 20 days.
