Tehran – Palestinian resistance forces have conducted two major ambushings in Gaza, causing major losses to the troops of the Israeli occupation regime.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) began evacuating military casualties from the battlefield. The administration’s military helicopters were deployed to provide emergency assistance.
Preliminary reports show that many IOF soldiers have been injured as Hebrew media sources confirm the occurrence of another “security incident” in Khan Eunice, in southern Gaza. Helicopters were observed transporting injured people from the area.
A similar “security incident” was also reported in the Shujaya district in northern Gaza city.
Hamas’ armed wing, the Alkassam Brigade, has released footage showing fighters bombarding a gathering of soldiers and military vehicles, iofs, in a heavy mortar fire from Khan Eunice.
The video also includes scenes of a surveillance drone being filmed while reconnaissance in the city.
In another operation, the Al-Kassam Brigade reported that their fighters targeted the IOF Merkaba tanks with pre-planted, high-explosive mines in the southwest southwest of Khan Eunice.
Meanwhile, the Al-Quds Brigade, an armed wing of Palestinian Islamic jihad, has released video evidence of resistance fighters targeting newly established IOF command and control centres north of Khan Younis.
They also attacked IOF special forces units hidden within residential buildings in the city centre. These strikes were reportedly carried out using a Type 107 rocket.
In another conflict, the Al-Kud Brigade argued for the responsibility to destroy the Israeli regime D9 military bulldozer during the invasion of the IOF into the Sheikh Nasser area east of Khan Yunis. The bulldozer was reportedly struck by a barrel-shaped “Thaqib” explosive device.
It remains unknown if these incidents are connected.
Before the latest ambush, reporters on IOF Military Radio confirmed that two Israeli soldiers were injured when tanks were struck by anti-candidate fires during a clash in northern Gaza.
Palestinian resistance forces continue to expand operations against the IOF across the Gaza Strip.
