BEIRUT – In a severe violation of ceasefire and Lebanon’s sovereignty, the Israeli regime launched an air attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs Sunday evening, in a continuation of US-Israel strategies since the ceasefire agreement last November.
Air raids arise because both Tel Aviv and Washington are convinced that the September-November war in Lebanon weakened Hezbollah or did not end the threat.
Initially, the focus was to bomb all important facilities, homes, infrastructure, and frontline village homes with occupied Palestine.
The attack then extended north of the Ritani River, reaching the Bekaa Valley and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Without a doubt, the new attack coincides with massive political and media propaganda led by Lebanon’s anti-resistance teams, threatening Hezbollah with disarmament.
It is noteworthy that in the attack on Sunday evening, Israeli enemies did not claim it was a suspected response to a rocket fired into the Palestinian territory occupied by Lebanon.
Given the international silence and inaction by the Lebanese government, this move could be transformed into an enemy and launch more attacks in the future.
In terms of the timing and scope of the attack, aggression was intended to threaten and pressure the unbearable popular foundation to believe this fire campaign was just one of the ongoing attacks.
However, it has become clear that Israelis understand the importance of time in achieving the strategic and political objectives of war.
Therefore, they and Washington appeared to be in a hurry, realizing that Hezbollah was in the process of fully recovering. This was one of Hezbollah’s most important advantages in all previous conflicts.
Additionally, these concerns appear to be spreading to anti-resistance in Lebanon, and are putting a great bet on Israel and openly expressing the need to disarm Hezbollah as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the urgent question that pops up is, given what the Lebanese government is doing now, when will we move to the stage of suppressing Israeli attacks?
It is no longer acceptable for Lebanon to remain a threat from enemy force spokesman Avicei Adrei.
But the unfortunate thing is that the Lebanese government has not taken actual diplomatic action in protest of Israel’s violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement.
Has Lebanon’s Foreign Minister summoned both the US and French ambassadors to communicate official Lebanon protests against what Israel’s enemies are doing? !
Without a doubt, the attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs targeted the general foundation of resistance, as well as the Lebanese state with all institutions, government, sovereignty, independence and security. He often says that Israel and the people behind it do not take seriously the act of being “peace.”
Therefore, if the state cannot protect its people, then it is necessary to seek ways to protect it before the establishment of the current resistance movement, proposed by Mar teachers in 1974, even before the Israeli invasion!
