Tehran -Special Photo Exhibition featuring the famous French photographer Michel Set Boon is open to the public at Tehran’s Niabaran History and Cultural Composite.
In commemoration of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, this exhibition introduces the symbolic photographs of the set boon that recorded important events in 1979.
This exhibition, which was held at the Blue Hall, a Niabaran complex, introduces images of the book “Days of Revolution”, a set boon that records important moments of the revolution. The exhibition, organized in cooperation with the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense Photographer Association, can rarely see the turbulent era of the revolutionary victory.
The set -bun, close to revolutionary events, captured historical moments such as Imam Homeini’s asylum and return. His 28,000 photos include a large number of demonstrations, public gatherings, and KHOMEINI’s speech images in BEHESHT-E ZAHRA CEMETERY and ALAVI SCHOOL. These images function as one precious visual archive of the most decisive historical period in Iran.
The 72 -year -old setboun began as an architect, but in 1978 it turned into a news and a war photographer covering the world of SIPA PRESS, a French photo agency -based French photo agency. He also featured news events in El Salvador, Afghanistan and Pakistan. In the late 1980s, he began working on long -term international stories in Mongolia, Hong Kong, and Hong Kong for the Sygma Photo News, a French Lafo Photography agency and the United States. In 1990, he decided to work again in a long -term project as a freelance photographer. He still produces art photos and books, and his photos are published in the New York Times, Geo, Life, and Paris games.
The exhibitions are open every day from 9 am to 5 pm from February 18, and we welcome visitors who are interested in this important chapter of photographic enthusiasts, historians, and modern history of Iran.
