TEHRAN – The rarely seen painting of the flight magnificent by the late Iranian painter Mahmoud Farshuan was published in Mashhad on Thursday, commemorating the 40th day since his death.

Soleimani said the paintings preserved in the foundation’s treasure troves are moving 14 golden birds representing conceptual works open to artistic research. “This precious piece reflects the depth of vision and creativity of Farusia’s master,” he said.
During the event, joint commemorative stamps were also announced by the Master The Fan Foundation and Astan Quds Razabi. The stamps feature two artworks from each facility’s museum collection.
The first painting to be released will be returned to the foundation’s Museum Treasury Department.
Mahmoud Farshchian (1930–2025) was a well-known Iranian painter and educator known for revitalizing Persian miniature art. His works are exhibited in museums and collections around the world. Farshchian developed a unique school of Iranian painting that combines classic aesthetics with innovative techniques, and has recognised traditional art forms as new and new independence and international recognition.
