Tehran-Deputy Head of Tehran Tourism Bureau has stated the news that a soccer match will be held between Iranian art stars and tajik art stars with the aim of attracting tourists.
The match took place on Sunday, August 17th at PAS Stadium in Tehran. This friendly match ended with a high score of 8-4 victory in favor of the Iranian artists team.
Reza Hemmati said the match was an opportunity for cultural and artistic exchange between the two countries with common historical roots, indicating a bright horizon for tourism cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan, Mehr’s news agency reported.
Managers of tourism companies in both countries also attended the ceremony and carefully examined the possibilities for interaction and cooperation in the tourism industry.
Hemmati pointed out the role of sports and art in the development of tourism, saying that sports and art are powerful tools to attract tourists and promote cultural interactions. Such competition not only provides entertainment and excitement, but also helps to develop urban areas and international tourism.
He emphasized that Iran and Tajikistan can introduce tourism capabilities more widely worldwide through artistic and sports cooperation due to historical, cultural and linguistic similarities. “We hope that this competition is just the beginning of a sustainable and long-term interaction between the two countries.”
