According to Yonhap News Agency, a fire broke out at E-Land Fashion’s distribution center in central Cheonan early Saturday morning, but fire officials said there were no casualties.
According to fire authorities, the fire broke out at around 6 a.m. at a four-story distribution center in Cheonan, about 90 kilometers south of Seoul, and the main fire was extinguished at 3:30 p.m., about nine and a half hours after the fire broke out.
To extinguish the fire, authorities mobilized 430 personnel, 11 helicopters and 150 pieces of equipment. According to officials, the main fire has been extinguished, but the response level remains at Level 2 as there are many embers inside the center.
No casualties were reported as the fire broke out several hours before work began. Approximately 500 people work on weekdays.
