Tehran – The Iranian Elite and Knowledge-Based Enterprise Association, accredited by the Ministry of Home Affairs, is an NGO established to promote the existence of knowledge-Based enterprises in the country’s economic system.
“The association’s financial resources are fully provided by the private sector and there is no government support. This is a victory card for us because the association’s independence allows us to serve government and society more.”
Referring to the activities of the association, Shapari said: “Organizing knowledge-based companies and bringing together elites is one of the association’s most important goals. The outcomes of the activities ultimately benefit people. Over the past two years, we have sought to provide synergies between activists from various fields by holding conferences and special meetings.”
The areas of association’s activities include assessing the capabilities of knowledge-based companies and institutions by providing specific definitions, working with competent authorities to explain the necessary conditions, and strengthening support structures such as ranking systems.
It also creates the platforms needed for international communication in the economic field through the introduction and development of domestic knowledge-based product markets overseas, as well as exchange of science and knowledge with reputable science centres around the world.
Defining and organizing national projects with an approach to ensuring national independence. It is another purpose of the Association to enhance the synergy of science and wealth through research, innovation and commercialization of invention, monitor basic needs, and identify the infrastructure in which the country is developing.
