Mohamad Esrami, the chief of the atomic energy organization, who leads the delegation, will be taking part in the 69th IAEA General Meeting held in Vienna on Monday.
Speaking to national television on Sunday, Mohammad Eslami said the annual conference, which will be held in Vienna on Monday, is one of the most important UN gatherings and an opportunity for member states to present their positions.
He said Iran, as a regular participant, will take the floor to highlight incidents that have occurred in the nuclear industry that violate the UN Charter, IAEA regulations and laws.
Eslami stressed that Iran intends to shed light on the failure of the agency’s actions and the excessive demands of the hostile country.
He confirmed that Iran will present the resolution at the meeting, consult with other member states, place the issue on the agenda and share it with partners.
The AEOI chief added that the Iranian delegation will also be holding a multilateral meeting with the provinces engaged in nuclear cooperation with Tehran.
The conference he continued provides a valuable opportunity to “present clear and honest stories” to the international community regarding the violation of international norms that influenced Iran’s nuclear activities due to the lack of action of the IAEA.
