As another holy month of Ramadan passes, its final week brings both rigorous reflection and new resolve. Throughout this sacred era, the resilience of the community of resistance has been manifested in countless ways. From the long Iftar tables set among ruins left behind by Zionist enemies in the border village, to the tireless efforts of the community to provide food, clothing and support to those who suffered huge losses, the spirit of solidarity persists.
The last Friday of Ramadan holds a special importance as Al-Kudos’ Day. This is a day dedicated to the continued struggle for the liberation of occupied Palestine and the liberation of its sacred places, from the grip of the Zionist regime. Founded in 1979 by the founders of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Iranian Imam Sayed Ruhola Khomeini, Al-Kuz Dei, serves as a global call for solidarity with the Palestinians.
The words of Imam Khomeini at the time are similarly related to today. “I call on Muslims around the world to dedicate this holy month of Ramadan as Al-Kud’s Day and declare international solidarity among Muslims who support the legitimate rights of Palestinian Muslims.”
Still, Palestinians and Southern Lebanon residents endured merciless attacks and violations. Despite the insurmountable losses suffered ten years from now, their commitment to causes remains unshakable. This unwavering spirit echoes in the sacrifices of all martians and the voices of children who pledge their faith and loyalty to the land.
Among those who conveyed this message with unwavering belief was Martyr Sayed Hasan Nasrallah. His words and leadership continue to guide efforts in resistance, both in life and beyond. Throughout Ramadan and all of the Al-Kud days, his speech served as an important source of recognition that exposes the historical injustice behind the Palestinian occupation and strengthens the importance of this memory.
In one of his speeches, Sayyed Hasan asserted:
He also highlighted the longstanding efforts of scholars at the Al-Najaf School in Iraq, even before the official establishment of an illegal Israeli state in 1948. These scholars played an important role in resisting colonial oppression and instilling the principles of rebellion in their communities.
Zionist entities are constantly aware of the knowledgeable and principled power of leaders produced by Muslims, and often rely on assassinations to silence them. The martialism of Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah stands as evidence of the immense impact that true leaders can have in shaping society that seeks resilient truth.
Sayyed Nasrallah’s unwavering attitude towards Al-Quds
The events after the “Al-Aqsa Flood” campaign and subsequent genocide in Gaza have further rekindled global awareness of Palestinian legitimate causes. However, Said Nasrara did not need to be resurrected to remember Palestine. He consistently opposed Palestinian occupation, oppression and systematic dehumanization.
On the day of Al-Quds in 2021, he declared: “Today is once again the day to express the same solid position. I will start with the immobility of the Palestinian people. This is a very important issue, and the development that is taking place in Palestine is based on that immobility. At one time, it is a scene of resilience, resistance, pride, adherence to the truth, and the only scene that gives legitimacy to the entire axis of resistance.”
In short, leaders like Saeed Nasrara denounced the Zionist regime and understood the value of every opportunity to amplify the voices of those oppressed in occupied Palestine. His words should be remembered more than ever as the malicious war with Gaza returned, and the same innocent people who had just returned from a year of evacuation were massacred with their children in convulsive tents built on the ruins of destroyed homes.
The day of Al-Quds serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting struggle for the liberation of Palestine, symbolizing resilience, solidarity and resistance to crackdown. Through the voices of leaders like the legacy of Saeed Nasrara and Imam Khomeini, the importance of the day remains unshakable, reinforcing the legitimate causes of the Palestinian people.
Despite immeasurable sacrifices and merciless assaults, the spirit of resistance continues for generations, ensuring that the voices of the oppressed never become silent. Amid the massive losses of the year, Al-Quds Day stands as a beacon of hope, integrating communities in an unwavering commitment to justice and liberation.
