The origins of Persian ceramic and ceramic techniques date back to ancient Persia for thousands of years, with archaeological evidence from 4,000 BC. These methods reflect the rich cultural heritage that had a major impact on the local arts and craftsmanship. Persian pottery has become a symbol of social status, religious expression and artistic innovation that evolves through various dynasties and empires.
The influence of Persian craftsmanship spreads across adjacent civilizations through trade routes such as the Silk Road, creating global ceramic practices. Today, studying these techniques illuminates Persian contributions to the history of ancient technology and highlights the enduring legacy of Persian cultural and artistic ingenuity.
