TEHRAN – Atefe Zarei, a national library and archive monitoring in western Iran, has given news about registering documents regarding the discovery of Ali Sadr Cave in Hadan, which is listed at the Institute.

Zarei said the Ali Sador caves are a symbol of solidarity between people and nature, and an unparalleled asset of Iran’s natural heritage that must be recorded in national memory in careful documents.

Known for its extensive network of water-filled passageways, Alisaddle Caves attract thousands of visitors each year and are considered one of the largest water caves in the world.
According to available data, Alisadr Caves are the most popular destination in Hadan Province, welcoming 566,000 visitors during the first six months of the Iranian calendar year (starting on March 20th).
The caves embrace a huge matrix of sunless waterways, ponds, caves and water passages that stretch with rock formations and sturdy tops over a span of several kilometers. The entrance to the long cave is located about 70km north of Hamedan, the capital of the province.
