Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Wednesday’s Cabinet session, Iran’s defense minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh responded to tension.
“On behalf of Iran and the people of the military, I say that God will be happy to have consultations that will result, but if it doesn’t end and if the conflict is placed on us, the other victims will definitely be much heavier than ours.”
He also added, “In the case of a conflict, we have to leave the area as all the bases are within our range. And we will target all of them to all of the host countries.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said last week that Iran had successfully conducted missile tests featuring a two-ton warhead, which praised it as a major step forward in Iran’s defensive capabilities.
Nasirzadeh said, “We have made great progress in defence issues. Our operational capabilities are fully equipped.”
“Our recent achievements have been a successful test of missiles carrying a two-ton warhead last week, resulting in excellent results.”
The test is part of Iran’s broader efforts to increase military readiness and defence amid ongoing regional tensions.
