Ambassador Abdullahleza Ramani Fazli, Beijing of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said about President Masudo Pezeshkian’s trip to China to attend the SCO summit, “The participation of the ministers associated with this summit is a sign of a very rich and constructive relationship between Iran and China.
“Considering its importance, all leaders of SCO and SCO+ member states are participating in the SCO summit. Ten are observer members and 10 are secretary generals of regional and international organizations, including the Secretary-General of the United Nations,” the Iranian ambassador said.
“We were active and effective members and attended all meetings and summits. Pastors, Attorney General, and even the Minister of Defense, Foreign Minister and Minister of Energy participated in these meetings.”
“As around 100 committees and meetings have been held in China this year on a variety of issues, the visit of our country’s president will have a specific impact on the final meeting held at the end of each period.
“In addition to these meetings, the President will hold bilateral meetings, including meetings with the Russian President. He will travel to Beijing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of World War II victory and China’s victory over Japan.
“Therefore, the participation of the President and related ministers in the upcoming SCO conference shows a very sincere and constructive relationship between Iran and China,” he further argued.
