Tehran – In a memo, Kayhan wrote:
Furthermore, the negotiation experience and the nuclear agreement with the Democratic government ended with the loss of national interests and the lack of goodwill in the country in negotiations. Pro-Western Media’s objective investigations in recent months show that they once again proposed a rudimentary and unsupported formula for negotiations with the United States, focusing on foreign policy reports. The historical records of both Democrats and Republican US administrations against Iran for at least 30 years are full of clear signs of disloyalty. But looking at the 14th Government’s approach in sending positive pulses to America is a compelling reason for fair analysts, in contrast to the brave responses of both the Biden and Trump administrations to these signals.
Iran: Iran and our advance
In his explanation, the Iranian newspaper informed a recent Atlantic Council article on Iran-US relations during the Second Trump administration, writing: According to the Atlantic Council, there has been a lot of talk about our diplomacy potential with Iran since the start of Trump’s second term. Trump has expressed interest in dealing with Tehran in the second term. However, in every transaction, details are important. For now, there is evidence that the US and Iran are not heading towards a diplomatic agreement. The Islamic Republic is about to reach a new agreement within the framework of implementing temporary nuclear restrictions in exchange for the removal of sanctions. Some supporters of negotiations with Iran are optimistic that they may suddenly pursue a similar policy that Trump has adopted against Iran. So far, there is no evidence to show how prepared Tehran is to meet what the Trump administration is ready to accept.
Etemad: Iran and Türkiye are historic neighbours
In the commentary, Etemad discusses the good relations between Iran and Turkey, and the fact is that Turkey was a peaceful neighbour and friend during a difficult time for Iran. When the region and the world were behind Saddam in the imposed war (1980s), Turkey opened the door to Iran. They had economic benefits on both sides of the war, but they also served as a path of communication, economic and diplomacy for Iran. Taking advantage of opportunities to benefit from both sides is a hallmark of Turkish diplomacy. On the other side, Iran was a good, reliable and beneficial neighbour for Türkiye. They did not support Turkish opposition groups and gave them no sanctuaries or bases. Currently, Turkey controls the issue in Syria, but he does not want to release it from this historical responsibility. Iran and Turkey have always been two influential neighbours who were never cut off even at the most difficult times. Iran has never appeared as a Turkey enemy and we hope that will happen. Smart politics involves remembering the past and not letting the future forget it.
Arman-e-Melli: The Need for Intelligence in Diplomacy
In an interview with political expert Dr Zahra Nejad Bahram, Arman-e-Melli explored the international equations between Iran and the Western countries. She said: To realize that opportunity in the context of interaction with countries around the world, the European Union needs to resolve the problems arose by the US and others. The countries in this region are divided into seven countries in terms of trade and technology, and have a large share in the global economy, so pooling their strengths can create other opportunities. In such a situation, Iran can look for another way to resolve the issue (West), especially given the tensions that have arisen between the US and the European Union with Trump’s return to power, particularly regarding the serious efforts by the US for its involvement in the Ukrainian war and Russia. Ignoring this important issue means losing foreign policy opportunities. Such opportunities have been unprecedented in Iran’s modern political history for at least the last 20 years.
