Almost two years after the war in Gaza, American support for Israel has been reversed by the earthquake, with the large shares of voters expressing negative and negative views about Israeli Cabinet management of conflict.
Most American voters are now opposed to sending additional economic and military aid to Israel. This is an astonishing reversal of public opinion since October 7th. About six of the 10 voters said Israel should end its military campaign even if the remaining Israeli prisoners have not been released or Hamas has not been eliminated.
40% of participants in the poll believe Israel is intentionally killing civilians in Gaza.

In summary, the results of the Times/Siena survey show a major deterioration in favor of stubborn American allies who enjoy decades of bipartisan support.
The study also suggests the challenges of the future US-Israel Alliance. Israel has been the largest cumulative recipient of US foreign aid since 1948, and has received hundreds of millions of dollars in support.
Young voters, regardless of party, were less likely to support them in continuing their support. Seven in ten voters under the age of 30 said they opposed additional economic or military aid.
