Tehran – “Life is Too Short,” a play played by a visually impaired actor, is set to be on stage in Yerevan, Armenia.
Written by Mehhdi Mehdiabadi and directed by Mojtaba Goharkhai, the production will be performed in the Armenian capital from May 27th to 30th, Isna reported on Monday.
The performance has previously been performed in Iran at venues such as the Art Hall, the Art Hall, and the Art Hall, an Iranian theatre production centre for the intellectual development of children and young people. Kanooon, Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) in Karazmi University Tehran in Karaj, and Chaharmahal Bakhtiari Province, Iran’s International Theatre Festival at Iranian International Theatre Festival for children and young adults in the capital area of Akhtab in the region, the report added.
“Life Is Short,” produced by Arshek Theatre Group, has won multiple awards.
The group features nine blind, visually impaired actors. In particular, performance is carried out without on-stage tactile cues or visual markers and relies solely on enhancing auditory sensations and spatial awareness.
Performers include Hamidreza Farahi, Zahara Homai, Elahhe Mohakek Beigi, Elham Mohakek Beigi, Mina Dehai, Amir Hamze Nakai, Bahar Mahadabi Taheli, Maryem Kasemy Akdam and Mohammad Mohammadi.
Fatemeh Abdolrahimi is the project manager and will be performed at Yerevan as part of the cultural exchange between Iran and Armenia.
