TEHRAN – On Thursday, the Anthropology Museum was launched in Ludobar County, Gilan Province, with tourism minister Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri and Governor of Gilan, Hadi Hakshenas.
As part of a two-day visit to the Northern Province, Salehiamiri officially opened the museum. It was established in the historic Naharklan Palace in the municipality of Ludobar. The National Heritage building has been restored and renovated in recent years to serve as a cultural and historic centre.
The museum, which spans 700 square meters on the second floor, has sections dedicated to Hykalian and archaeological studies. It also serves as the headquarters of the Ludoval County Cultural Heritage Office to showcase historic artifacts.
In addition to the museum’s inauguration, two major tourist accommodation projects in Ludobar were launched in front of the tourism minister and the governor. Projects that include hotel restaurants and ecolodges have been reported.
As part of his visit, Salehiamiri toured the historic location in Somasala County’s Mirza Kuchak Khan district.
