Tehran – The protests took place in several parts of Syria, denounced Israel’s occupation regime and affirmed the country’s unity.
The demonstrations occurred in various regions, including the southwest of Dara and the countryside of Damascus.
Protesters condemned the Israeli regime’s involvement in the Syrian issue. Protesters emphasized Syrian national identity and chanted slogans that rejected foreign military or political interference.
The Israeli regime launched a series of massive airstrikes across Syria under the pretext of supporting the Druze community amid internal battles along sectarian boundaries.
The regime also expanded its occupation in the Arab state. Critics argue that it is an attempt to justify the seizure of illegal land.
At the same time, massive protests broke out in major squares of Sweida cities such as Sweida, Salkhad, Shahba, Salim, Qanawat, Mufaqa, Abu Zureiq, and others, as well as Sweida, Salkhad, Shahba, Salim and Qanawat.
The demonstrations reflect widespread outrage over what protesters called “unprecedented atrocities” carried out by government forces during recent deadly violence in the region.
Protesters carried banners denounced authorities in Damascus and called for the withdrawal of government troops from dozens of villages.
Protesters also called for the opening of humanitarian corridors and the lifting of military and security blockades imposed on Sweida.
The protest rejected the government’s newly announced investigation committee, saying that “invaders have no right to form an investigation agency,” and instead called for an international investigation.
They also requested immediate disclosure of the fate of hundreds of missing residents from Sweida.
Furthermore, protesters criticized both official and semi-official Syrian media, accusing them of spreading misinformation and inciting tensions. They sought foreign journalists to be granted access to the state after being banned for several days by the state security forces.
