On Thursday, the Iranian Navy launched a two-day major naval missile movement (Sustainable Power (authority) 1404 (2025)) across the North Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman.
As part of the main phase of the military exercise, different types of naval cruise missiles from different ranges reached targets in the North Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman after firing from the naval surface vessels.
Iranian Nasir, Kadir and Kadar Aliship Cruise Missiles successfully exploded their targets with drills.
Iran has sought to convey military preparations to counter potential threats by demonstrating its deterrent, according to reports of military exercises by local Arab media, including Al Arabia 24 in the United Arab Emirates, Al Mayan and Al Manor in Lebanon, Al Masila in Yemen and Al Arabia television, owned by the Saudi Arabians.
A report cited Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh shows that Iran is currently making significant progress over those used in the recent 12-day war, indicating that it has the ability to penetrate enemy defense systems with a success rate of 90%.
Arab media analysts have interpreted the military exercise as Iran’s first major training since the 12-day war with Israel, reflecting Tehran’s commitment to strengthening its defense preparation against potential future threats.
Iranian officials have consistently emphasized that the country does not hesitate to strengthen its military capabilities, including missile capabilities, which are aimed solely for defense. Furthermore, Iran’s defensive capabilities never become a topic of negotiation.
Today, Iranian navy simultaneously fired several cruise missiles from both coastal batteries and surface vessels, destroying designated surface targets during the “Sustainable Power 1404” missile movement.
The US-backed Israeli regime attacked Iran on June 13th. The regime assassinated many Iranian nuclear scientists and senior military commanders, and fired several military bases around the country. Then, on June 22, 2025, the US Air Force and Navy carried out airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities to ease pressure on the Israeli regime.
The following day, on June 23, Iranian forces retaliated against a US base in Qatar with more than 30 drones and missiles.
Finally, on June 24, after suffering a major loss at the hands of Iranian military forces, both the Israeli regime and the United States were forced to agree to halt hostilities.
