Speaking to the television correspondent of Rome’s national Iran on Friday, the Foreign Minister and Iran’s top negotiator Abbas Aragci said, “It was one of the most specialized rounds of negotiations. We are stuck in our position. We have a clearer understanding of Iran’s position.
A top Iranian negotiator added, “Omani’s Foreign Minister has made proposals to remove obstacles (during the discussions). The opinions of each capital on these proposals will be reviewed in the next round.”
“The negotiations are too complicated to conclude in a few short meetings,” Araguchi added.
“We hope that at the next one or two meetings we can get to a solution that can move forward with consultations given that we have a better understanding of Iran’s position. We are not at that stage yet, but we are not disappointed either.
