Iran’s Foreign Minister of Islamic Republic Abbas Aragci met with New York’s Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stole on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between Iran and Norway, as well as major regional and international development.
During the meeting, Araguchi highlighted the devastating humanitarian crisis unfolding in occupied Palestinian territory as a result of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. He highlighted the urgent need for the international community to address the threat posed by Israel’s continued attacks on regional and global peace and security.
The discussion also focuses on the importance of all stakeholders to take up Iran’s nuclear program and use diplomatic channels to prevent unnecessary crises and promote stability.
