On Friday, hatami visited Shahid Lashkari Airbase in Tehran. Admiral Habibora Sayali, deputy chief for the coordination of the Iranian Army, and Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, commander of the Iranian Air Force Republic (Iliaf), together evaluated the base’s combat preparations.
“In eight years of sacred defense, we have demonstrated that we will never allow an inch of Iranian land to be separated,” hatami said, referring to the Iranian-Iraq war in the 1980s.
He reaffirmed the Army’s obligation to protect the country’s sovereignty, saying the military is committed to protecting Islamic facilities and maintaining the integrity and independence of Iran’s territory.
Khatami emphasized that the Iranian army will continue to carry out its mission with full strength and determination.
The visit comes when the Israeli regime launched a wave of attacks on Iran’s military and civilian infrastructure on June 13, claiming the brass of 12 troops, claiming hundreds of lives, including women and children.
In response, the Iranian forces launched Operation True Promise III, a powerful retaliation campaign against the Israeli regime by targeting major military, intelligence reporting, industrial, energy and R&D facilities throughout the occupying territories.
The US, which had been in talks with Tehran on a peaceful nuclear program since April, took part in the war on June 22nd by targeting several important nuclear sites. Iran hit a major US military base in Qatar in retaliation.
The new satellite image reveals significant damage to U.S. Air Force Base Al Udeid in Qatar, exposing President Donald Trump’s claim that the largest U.S. military base in the West Asia region was left unharmed.
Images showed that the main secure communications equipment used by the US military was present at the base hours before the Iranian attack, but it was no longer visible in subsequent images.
On June 24, the Israeli government was forced to declare a unilateral halt of the aggression announced on behalf of the US president.
