Tehran – The latest ideas about the “post-war transition” of Gaza in Washington and Tel Aviv are as reckless as they are humiliated. Give Tony Blair the reins. The draft plan, announced by the White House, will nominate him as a member of the international organization overseeing transitional governance in Gaza under the board chaired by Donald Trump, as well as a potential coordinator.
The Palestinian voice has already rejected the concept entirely. Husam Badran of Hamas described Blair as “a partner of the devil,” claiming that the former British prime minister “has brought good things to Palestinians, Arabs or Muslims.”
This is not just an exaggeration. It’s about talking about history. Positioning Blair, who is in charge of Gaza, is to bring one of the darkest pages of the Middle East back to itself. He is remembered not as a peace superintendent, but as an architect of war, failure and profit.
Iraq: The original crime
Blair’s related documents cannot be started from anywhere except Iraq. In 2003 he dragged Britain into George W. Bush’s invasion based on lies.
The focal point of the deception was what is known as dangerous related documents. This is a propaganda file cooked under MI6’s Operation Mass Appeal. It was released in February 2003 as “Iraq: Infrastructure of Concealment, Deception, and Intimidation.” Nevertheless, it was swayed by Colin Powell of Washington, the United Nations, to help sell the war.
Chilcott’s research confirmed what the world already knows. He sent the troops before the peaceful options were brought to trial, and plans for the aftermath were “completely inadequate.”
The tolls were devastating. In an unstable area with hundreds of thousands of deaths, ISIS is rising from the ruins. To this day, he faces a prosecutor’s appeal. A million British even petitioned against his orders, branding him a war criminal.
The disaster in Iraq was not an accident. That was a choice. And the shadows that chase Blair forever in the room he enters, especially in the Islamic world.
Quartet Envoy: Nothing Record
The defender points to his year as a Middle Eastern envoy. Founded in 2002 by the United Nations, the US, the EU and Russia, the quartet aimed to guide the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and lay the foundation for solutions for the two states.
But what did he achieve? It’s not peace. It’s not a nation. It is not the end of a siege or settlement.
He avoided Gaza for a year after taking the post. Nabil Shaas, a former Palestinian negotiator, made it clear: Blair “has been achieved little due to his serious efforts to please the Israelites.”
His most promoted success was to frequently do free radio frequencies for Palestinian telephone companies.
The pattern was already clear. Blair was more likely to cut transactions in Israeli executive offices than he was listening to Palestinians under the lockdown.
Blair Inc. : Business crisis
Since leaving office, Blair has easily turned politics into grotesque-adjacent profits.
His consulting firm and later Tony Blair Institute (TBI) advised rulers across the oil-rich desert kingdom that spanned the post-Soviet republic, reaching the interior of Africa from the Mediterranean coast and providing “governance reforms” for millions.
Groups that include Human Rights Watch, the Human Rights Foundation and Corporate Europe’s observation deck have accused him of being a whitewashed dictator.
He earned millions from JP Morgan, and his investment in Iraq has raised accusations of “blood money.” He struck a secret deal with Riyadh.
He was Netanyahu’s best friend and courted ultrazionist billionaires, such as Oracle’s Larry Ellison, among the largest civil donors in the Israeli military. In the UK, the institute promoted a scheme to commercialize patient data for the NHS and projected a critic called “Oracle’s Sales Pitch.”
In Gaza, TBI fingerprints are already displayed. From artificial islands to tax-free enclaves, it has built their mark that leaked plans for “redevelopment.” A proposal to treat devastation as a business opportunity and as an obstacle to moving Palestinians aside.
For Blair, every crisis is a contract. All war zones are workshops.
The Wrong Man in Gaza
Because Blair does not represent peace, the Palestinians react to the very mention of his name. He represents the arrogance of outsiders who helped destroy the area and then returned to manage the wreckage. His appointment will not heal the wounds – it will salt them.
Gaza needs Palestinian-led sovereignty, security, accountability and reconstruction.
Blair has little missions in Palestine or reliability in the region, reducing her trust in the home. His presence would outlaw the body in transition before it began.
Appointing Tony Blair is like taking charge of an arsonist in the firefighter. And after the Iraqi fire, the world should know better than handing him the match.
