According to CNN, Palestine’s death toll, which has been slowed for two months due to a ceasefire, has risen dramatically since Israel resumed its attack on March 18th.
The ministry says the Israeli fire has killed 673 people and has since injured 1,233 people.
More than 200 people were killed were children.
The department also said the names of 233 missing persons have been added to the victims after the death of the Judiciary Commission.
More than 700 Palestinians have been killed, shattering ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreements in January, and more than 1,000 have been injured in Israel’s surprising air campaign in Gaza since Tuesday.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Joab Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide case in the International Court of Justice due to its war with the enclave.
