A source whose name is not mentioned issued a warning Wednesday amid reports that the US is evacuating non-essential staff and their families from Western Asian countries in anticipation of Israel’s strike against Iran, according to news television.
He told the American Weekly News magazine Newsweek that the Yemeni army adopted a growing state of readiness as “escalating attacks against Yemen essentially continue based on the state of war on Zionist enemy entities due to the attacks and siege on Gaza.”
Sources say Yemeni forces are always ready while working to escalate anti-Israel operations.
“We are also preparing to the highest level of preparation for the possibility of America’s escalation for us,” he added. “Iran’s escalation to the Islamic Republic is also dangerous, and will drag the entire region into the deeper bys of the war.”
Ansarla sources also emphasized that the United States has no right to attack regional countries in the service of Zionist regimes.
“It is not for the benefit of the American people to be involved in a new war in the service of Zionist organizations,” he further warned.
The statement comes after US President Donald Trump confirmed that American citizens have moved from West Asia, saying that they could be “a dangerous place.”
Meanwhile, Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh responded to the threat of Washington’s military action in the event of an indirect nuclear negotiations with Tehran.
He said that Tehran will target all American bases in the region, and that would result in more losses for the US side.
Tehran and Washington held five rounds of indirect talks mediated by Oman on Iran’s nuclear program and the elimination of US sanctions on the Islamic Republic. Muscat is planning a sixth round of negotiations on Sunday.
President Masoud Pezeshkian repeatedly declared on Wednesday that Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons, but that this does not mean that the country will waive its rights to scientific research and development.
