The 14-year-old boy was abducted two weeks ago by the Israeli regime’s so-called internal security agency, Shin Bet, and police on suspicion of breaching security, but authorities have not provided any further information, Israeli daily Haaretz reported.
The boy, identified as fully disabled on the autism spectrum, lives in the central Israeli-occupied territory and was abducted while his family was visiting the West Bank.
Israeli authorities have prohibited publication of his name or the circumstances of his arrest, Press TV reported.
His mother and lawyer, who visited him in custody, said he was experiencing “violence and harsh conditions.”
The mother recounted an Israeli military raid aimed at kidnapping her son, saying that several Israeli soldiers entered her home before dawn.
“They entered the child’s room and pointed rifles and flashlights at him. My child was shaking and was too scared to stand on his feet,” she said.
“They didn’t look for anything, they just made a mess and took the whole family’s phones and computers,” the mother added.
The boy appeared four times in juvenile court in the city of Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv.
