Southern Lebanon – Lebanese actress Nadine Al-Rassi sparked widespread rage when she addressed Arabic spokesman Avichey Adrei about an airstrike targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut on the eve of Eid Al-Ada.
Al Rassi said, “Abichai, is there a way to stop this game? The Lebanese people are not so few that they can say, “Beware of the Lebanese people.” Please specify who is referring to geographically.
Adraee reposted the Al-Rassi video to his X, saying, “Greetings to Nadine Al-Rassi. I followed your recent statement. I want to make it clear that my words are not generally directed at Lebanese people. The harm of tourism or the image.”
Adraee said, “When some Lebanese territory is used for terrorist purposes against us, the problem becomes real.”
Shortly after the video went viral, angry comments poured into Al Lassi, with many calling her words “low level inflammatory,” simply reflecting her obsession with fame in Lebanon’s tragic moments.
Some accused her of being a “traitor.” “What is miserable to you, when children in the southern suburbs of Beirut feel terrified on Eid night, you should not be embarrassed!”
Critics unanimously agreed that Al-Rassi was the same as the rest of the Lebanese anti-resistance group. Lebanon is fully subordinate to the Israeli regime to the general foundation of resistance.
Clearly, Al-Rassi’s only concern is not solidarity with his fellow countrymen who were forced out of their homes, but the comfort of tourists from the Persian Gulf Arabs and western provinces.
Following a wave of harsh criticism, Lebanon’s Ministry of Information has warned its citizens to communicate directly or indirectly with spokesmen for the Zionist forces or related media.
“All honorable citizens, particularly influencers, artists and media experts, are required to refrain from any direct or indirect communication with spokesmen of Israel’s enemy forces or related media outlets, regardless of pretext or justification,” the Ministry of Information warned.
He also warned that “this type of interaction constitutes a clear violation of Lebanese law, particularly Lebanese law related to boycotting the enemy of Israel, and exposes the perpetrator to legal accountability under the applicable law.”
The ministry emphasized the need to “exercise national awareness and responsibility in handling digital content to maintain Lebanon’s sovereignty and highest national interests.”
Despite fear that the ongoing US-led Israeli invasion of Lebanon could escalate into a full-fledged war, the fame-obsessed individual continues to fall into a trap of malicious Zionist propaganda run by Adraee on his virtual page.
Al-Rassi and others are fully aware that this type of communication constitutes digital normalization with Israeli enemies. This poses a threat to public opinion as these individuals deliberately promote the Israeli narrative (Hasbara).
Hasbara’s goal is to perpetuate the “morality of Zionist principles” and other lies exposed during the ongoing attacks on the Palestinians.
The AL AQSA flood operation entitled “The Function of the Al Jazeera Center for Studies for Gaza (2021-2022-2023) in the Israeli War” Al Aqsa flood operation urged the enemy to adopt a network of digital public relations to counter their opponents.
Digital public relations is defined as communication between an organization and its online audience for building two-way communication.
Certainly, the surge in social media has made it easier for the dominant political system to spread their ideas, promote their agenda, and gain the trust of their audience.
According to the aforementioned research, traditional and digital public relations are natural heirs of “propaganda,” so they overlap functionally with neocolonial policies.
The Israeli occupation regime relies on Arabic to reinforce its image as a “peaceful” regime open to other cultures, as it does through social media platforms to hone the image of Israel’s crimes in the Arab way.
In 1997, William Pineau adopted a variety of strategies, including denial, avoiding liability, and minimizing event severity, and proposing what is called a “message options in crisis.”
Repairing the recipient’s image is based on Aristotle’s technical argument: the speaker’s reputation, the emotions used, and logic.
Ardaei adopts this on his platform to manipulate the minds and emotions of the users to repair bloody images of colonial existence and put the demons on the fault of those who resist. Therefore, Adraei focuses on the emphasis on the opposite dichotomy, such as: Terrorist; Lover of Life? Death lovers, etc.
