“We urge the international community, particularly influential countries, to fulfill our moral and legal responsibility by pressureing them to end bloodshed and ensuring that they are delivering urgent humanitarian assistance to all affected areas of Gaza without hindering,” the summit’s final statement read.
The Arab leader further stated, “condemning the ongoing attacks on Israel’s territory, violations of its sovereignty, and attempts to undermine and destroy the country’s capabilities. We call on the international community and the UN Security Council to stop these attacks and put pressure on them to respect the sovereignty of the nation.”
In the final communica, participants condemned “Zionist attacks on Syria.”
The 34th Arab League Summit began in Baghdad on Saturday, with Israel’s war with Gaza controlling consultations in addition to other regions’ issues. It is Iraq’s fourth summit and the first time since 2012.
