According to a press release issued by the official ICJ website on Friday, Brazil has submitted an application to the Israeli regime to participate in the genocide incident, originally submitted by South Africa.
“The Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil has the honour of submitting a declaration of intervention under Article 63 of the Court to the International Court of Justice in the suit of the Convention on Prevention and Penalty of Genocide Crimes in the Gaza Strip (South Africa vs. Israel).”
On December 29, 2023, South Africa filed an application to enact a lawsuit against Israel regarding breach of Israel’s obligations under the Genocide Convention on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Recently, Cuba has requested to participate in South Africa’s complaints about the Israeli regime’s genocide within the strip.
