The “mold” of Tehran-Iranian director Mohammadreza Noormandipur will be screened at the Brussels Short Film Festival (BSFF) held in the Belgian capital from April 23 to May 3.
This film follows Reza. After his wife’s death, Reza faces a challenge with one son.
The Brussels Short Film Festival serves as a gathering for film lovers, both for audiences and industry experts. The main purpose of the festival is to showcase and distribute short films while promoting connections between viewers, emerging filmmakers, and established industry figures.
The festival will feature films at international, national and next-generation competitions, along with special programs such as nights of short films and free outdoor screenings.
In particular, as of 2018, it has a unique opportunity to consider entering the animated short film/live-action short film category at the prestigious Academy Awards. This special consideration allows the award-winning film to bypass the typical requirements for a theatrical release, provided it meets all other qualification criteria outlined by the Academy.
