The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon violated a cease-fire agreement, killing four people and wounding three others, Anadolu news agency reported.
The state news agency reported that an Israeli drone crashed into a vehicle on the Doha-Kafarman road in Nabatiyeh district late Saturday.
The targeted vehicle was severely damaged and all four people on board were killed. According to the agency, two other motorcyclists who were passing by were also injured.
It added that the Israeli attack shattered the windows of dozens of homes across Doha, which is mostly residential.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military acknowledged the attack and claimed it targeted Hezbollah officers.
Despite a ceasefire in place since November 2024, tensions have risen in recent weeks along the Lebanese-Israel border, with Tel Aviv intensifying airstrikes on southern towns.
