China held a ceremony today at Tiananmen Square in Beijing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of its victory over Japan in World War II. President Xi Jinping invited over 26 foreign leaders to attend to commemorate the event.
Additionally, the president of parliament, vice ministers, senior officials, representatives of international organizations, and former politicians participated in the event. There were 50 relatives from 14 countries, including Russia, the US, the UK, France and Canada, representatives of international organizations in China, and 50 relatives or representatives from 14 countries.
The ceremony featured a military parade introducing China’s strategic and nuclear missile capabilities, highlighting the country’s military power.
Beijing also exhibited some of its nuclear weapons at the parade.
