“China hopes that all parties involved will adhere to the resolution of Iran’s nuclear issue through political and diplomatic means,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry website quoted Ma Chaoks as saying in a phone call with Iran’s counterpart Kazem Galibabadi.
A senior Chinese diplomat noted that the process of solving the issue “is once again at an important crossroads.”
He said Beijing will actively create favorable conditions for the early reopening of dialogue, take an objective, fair position, play a constructive role, and promote progress in negotiations.
China’s Foreign Ministry noted that Galibabadi strongly appreciated China’s contribution to political and diplomatic reconciliation on Iran’s nuclear issue. He confirmed Iran’s preparations to strengthen coordination with China.
