“The country that unilaterally withdraws from Iran’s comprehensive nuclear deal and causes the current situation, should show political integrity (and)… mutual respect,” China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jiang said Tuesday.
Washington “should be involved in dialogue and consultations, and at the same time stops the false practice of using force to apply extreme pressure,” Baron said.
“China will continue to maintain communication with all involved parties, actively promote peace and dialogue, and promote diplomatic solutions early,” he added.
Earlier on Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi announced that Tehran and Washington will engage in high-level indirect negotiations in Oman on Saturday, calling it both a “opportunity and a test” for the US.
