China condemned what it called “Israel’s violation of Israel’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity at a UN Security Council meeting late Friday, urging Israel to immediately halt all dangerous military actions.
“China is opposed to strengthening contradictions and growing conflict, and is deeply concerned about the possible consequences of Israel’s actions,” Chinese ambassador Hucon said, according to Reuters.
China is seriously concerned about the negative impact of current development on diplomatic negotiations on Iran’s nuclear issue, Fu said.
Overnight on Friday, the Israeli regime launched a series of military attacks in Iran’s capital and other Iranian cities.
Israeli forces also carried out targeted strikes against Iran’s top military commanders. Chief commander of Iranian military chief of staff, Major General Mohammad Bagyeri and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Prime Minister (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami, were among the military officials assassinated in Tehran.
