After negotiations between Ali Nazari Juibali, general manager of Estegraal FC, and Clarence Siedorf, a well-known Dutch footballer, the two sides reached a consensus, confirming that Sidorf will serve as Estegraal’s sports consultant.
Siedorf will spend two weeks a month in Iran to serve as a consultant.
The former star will also continue his work with the TV network and the Royal Dutch Football Association, working with Estegraal.
This marks his first experience as an international figure involved in sports management at Iranian football clubs.
The general manager of Esteghlal shared photos of himself and Seedorf on his social media accounts, saying the collaboration reflects the club’s efforts to align its technical structure with the latest scientific standards around the world.
Nazari-Juybari also said that Seedorf will help the club’s management choose their next coach and choose all decision-making processes.
According to the manager, Seedorf will soon visit Tehran and attend a press conference to outline the plans and vision of the collaboration.
