At a graduation ceremony for army cadets attended by senior commanders, Major General Abdulrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, congratulated the graduates, saying they were officers of the resistance front and would become future leaders of the army.
Today, Palestine is a beloved name in the world and Gaza stands as a symbol of steadfastness and the victory of blood over the sword, General Mousavi said.
The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces emphasized the far-reaching impact of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, saying that the operation marked the beginning of large-scale regional and global developments.
He noted that after years of media domination by the United States and the Zionist regime to portray themselves as righteous, Palestine, once on the verge of being forgotten, is once again at the forefront of global concern, while their true criminal, bloodthirsty, child-killing nature is exposed to the world.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Maj. Gen. Mousavi added that the Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, is trying to attack Iran in order to escape its current predicament of disgrace, widespread hatred among its people, and domestic turmoil. But the regime suffered a crushing defeat and was forced to call a ceasefire in despair, he said.
Maj. Gen. Mousavi said the enemy seeks to undermine national unity and weaken Iran’s unparalleled bastion of resistance, insisting that the military must maintain the highest level of readiness and continually strengthen it every day.
